As a Financial Controller promoting challenges in a worldwide pharmaeutical environment

We are looking for a replacement for the Financial Controller position in the Finance department. The Finance Department is situated in Zurich and is responsible for the financial controlling and reporting of the global biopharm business. We are working in close cooperation with various functions in the corporate headquarters.

 

Pharmaceutical Financial Controller

 

 

As Financial Controller you are responsible for:

  • Annual budgeting process for the global biopharm business in close interaction with various functions in headquarters
  • Financial and business risk reporting for the biopharm business
  • Preparation of and participation in Board of Directors meetings
  • Supporting the monthly and year-end closing process
  • Maintain the internal control system
  • Implement and maintain finance policies and procedures
  • Drive the development and implementation of financial process improvements
  • Be involved in various projects


 

For this function you have:

  • proven track record of success in the required areas
  • 5 years of relevant work experience within a similar position. Preferable is having experience from the pharmaceutical industry
  • a Master Degree within Economics, Business Administration or similar
  • a highly organised, structured way of working and are adaptable to change. You have the ability to care for details also when working under pressure
  • excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and in German and experience with SAP R/3 and SAP Business Warehouse.

As a person you are proactive, reliable and engaged in improving your skills and are used to perform within a multicultural work environment with high energy and effectiveness.
