One step away from a pharmaceutical production leader

For one of the world's leading pharmaceutical company's production sites, we are mandated to search for the second in line to the production leadership. You will be able to lead and manage a large process unit for sterile formulations ensuring the future development and achieving operational excellence.
Purpose of the position is to ensure regulatory compliance, high quality level, high customer service and efficient production in your area of responsibility, which may consist of 1 or more production or packaging operations of sterile vials.

Your accountabilities in summary:

  • Responsible for cost effectiveness
  • End to end operational responsibility, full ownership and accountability for scheduling, testing, processing and packaging quality
  • Responsible for efficient resource allocation ensures availability and maintenance of equipment
  • Coaching of team members

In addition:

  • Supports the Process Unit Team in the coordinating and planning of all Process Unit activities (logistics, project work, Services, Resources and Budget/costs) in a way that is consistent with a culture of self- directing (empowerment and accountability)
  • Ensures full compliance with quality, health safety and environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), customer service, statutory, regulatory and the company’s requirements
  • Drives continuous improvement in all LEAN Innovation, Quality, Productivity (LEAN IQP) production and other processes and procedures
  • Develops and strengthens the Process Oriented Organization (POO) culture by facilitating and promoting empowerment and accountability
  • Translates organizational objectives into a strategic plan to enable the Process Unit future activities to deliver all targets
  • Establishes and maintains a LEAN IQP mentality across unit, runs and coaches IQP project utilizing IQP tools and methodologies POO ambassador and role model in accordance with the company's Values & Behaviors


 

Minimum requirements

  • University Degree,Technical/Scientific degree or pharmaceutical apprenticeship with complementary education (FH, Master, etc.)
  • Fluent German and English
  • 5 years managerial experience in an operational pharmaceutical environment
  • Proven ability to lead and coach people, knowledge and appreciation of lean manufacturing principles
